Avarakkai curry


Ingredients needed :
  • Avarakkai / Broad beans - 1/4 kg.
  • Onions finely chopped - 2
  • Tomato finely chopped - 2
  • Mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp.
  • Urid dhal - 1/4 tsp.
  • Channa dhal - 1/4 tsp (opt.)
  • Chilli powder - 1/4 tsp (or as reqd.)
  • Salt - as reqd.
  • Oil - 2 tsp.
Method :

Clean and chop avarakkai lengthwise , and keep it ready in a kadai add oil + mustard seeds + urid dhal + channa dhal then add onions and fry well , then goes the tomatoes + chilli powder + salt and fry for few more mins. now add chopped avarakkai and add little water and allow it to cook till done.
